baseline About Picasso Malaga - Native town of Pablo Ruiz Picasso Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in Málaga the 25th of October 1881, where he lived during
ten years. He went with his family to Galicia, to La Coruña, and later on to Barcelona y
Paris. During lifetime Picasso made some short visits to Málaga where he was
fascinated by the light and the great beauty of his native town. The political situation
prevented him to come back. Picassos greatest wish, however, was to have a
museum with all his work in Málaga. This was realized not before October 2003.

The museum contains over 200 of his work of arts. This is the reason why Málaga
converts into a worldwide reference of artwork, due to one of the world most creative
