mediterraneo.com General conditions The present conditons replaces all previous conditions. With your registration for all
our offered courses you accept automatically the following general conditions.

Fees and enrolment
The school fees contain the chosen course, the chosen accommodation, certificates,
all free activities, a liability and accident insurance. The reservation fee is included in
the total sum. The costs for trips, text books, material, DELE examination fees are
not included. The enrolment can be sent to us by fax, e-mail or letter. Our

Payment of reservation fee, manner of payment
The registration is binding for you on receipt of the reservation form, it becomes
effective for the language school after a written confirmation of the school in Málaga.
After the receipt of the confirmation we ask you to transfer the indicated registration
fee according to the chosen course and the accommodation stated in the current
pricelist. The pre-payment must be transferred one week after you having received
the confirmation from Málaga to our bank account. All banking fees are paid by the
student. The reservation fee is part of the total price. The amount of the final invoice
has to be paid in Euro within the first course week in Málaga cash or by credit card.
Only the price indicated in Euro is valid. Responsability for misprint or mistakes is hereby excluded.

Cancellations
The enrolment can be cancelled only in written form by E-Mail, fax or letter. If the
cancellation takes place more than 3 weeks before beginning of course, we refund
you back 80% of the registration fee. The school retains the remaining money as
handling charge. If the cancellation should take place within 3 weeks before
beginning of course, the school retains 80% of the registration fee for the covering of
its expenses. For a cancellation at the beginning of the course no money will be
refunded.

Accommodations
The booked accommodation is at the disposal to our students from 12 o'clock at
noon on the day before beginning of course to 12 o'clock at noon one day after
course end. The costs of accommodation in a family contain only accommodation and
the half-board food supply. Achievements, e.g. washing of laundry etc... has to be
paid extra to the family. The Escuela Mediterraneo reserves the right to accomodate
students from a double room into a single rooms. Resulting price adjustments will be
to the debit of the school. The school reserves itself the right to demand possible
additional expenses from the students, in case of excessive current consumption,
strong contamination, or broken furniture.

Group composition
For groupwise classes a minimum number of participants of 3 persons is required,
should this number not be achieved, the language school reserves the right to
reduce the number of hours as follows:

With the participation of 2 students, the number of lessons of courses with 4 hrs. will
be reduced to 3 hrs. daily. Courses with 6 hrs. daily will be reduced to 4 hours daily.

With the participation of only one student the number of lessons of courses with 4
hrs. will be reduced to 2 hrs. daily. Courses with 6 hrs. daily will be reduced to 3
hours daily.

Holidays
At national, regional or local holidays (data you can find on our homepage and in
the price lists) no instruction takes place. No claim of price reduction is possible in this
case.

Minimum age
The minimum age, in order to be able to participate in our courses, amounts to 16
years. No restrictions are set upwards. Persons under the age of 16 years can
participate in company of adults in the courses.

Minimum number of participants for activities
The minimum number of participants for activities e.g. flamenco classes etc.
amounts to 3 persons.

Exclusion of the courses
The language school Mediterraneo reserves the right to exclude all those participants,
who by his behaviour disturbs the instructions or the living together in the apartments.

Insurance
The language school Mediterraneo recommends to all students to obtain
an international insurance against all risks. Students from member countries of the
European Union need the form E-111, available from your health insurance company.
The Languageschool Mediterráneo can obtain for its students from not-European
countries a medical insurance, when its needed for a visa or a visa extension.

Letters and packages
The private post office should be sent most appropriately to the school address. So
we can better assure that received letters after the end of course will reach their

Further conditions
The language school Mediterráneo reserves the right to change contents of
these general conditions without previous announcement. If a course has to be
cancelled due to the responsability of the Languageschool Mediterraneo, all
enrolled participants of the suspended course will receive back the fees of the
course.
